About this App

This tool was built for personal use — it reflects how I, Jose, assess and plan my own microneedling treatments. I built it to organise my thinking, track what works for my skin, and share the logic behind my routine with anyone curious about doing the same.

The science behind every recommendation — needle depths, seasonal adjustments, serum timing, cartridge choices — has been extracted from the peer-reviewed sources listed below. They are shared here for full transparency so you can verify every decision this app makes.

Product recommendations point to MeamoShop, a Seoul-based K-beauty supplier I personally use and trust for professional-grade skin boosters and microneedling serums.

Step-by-Step Procedure Guide
Follow this sequence every session for a sterile, safe, and effective treatment.
Session Intervals
How long to wait between sessions on the same zone.
0.25–0.5mm (superficial)
Minimum 2–3 weeks between sessions on the same zone. Collagen synthesis begins within 48h but peak remodelling occurs at 4–6 weeks.
0.5–1.0mm (mid-depth)
Minimum 3–4 weeks. Skin needs full dermal repair before re-stimulation. Needling too frequently prevents proper collagen remodelling and increases risk of scarring.
1.0mm+ (deep)
Minimum 4–6 weeks. Deep sessions create more extensive trauma — the repair window is longer and should not be interrupted. Do not rush the protocol.
⚠ Never re-needle within 10 days
Needling a zone that has not fully healed disrupts the inflammatory cascade, impairs collagen production and significantly increases infection risk. If your skin is still red, tender or peeling — wait.
When to Be Concerned
Most post-needling reactions are normal. Here's how to tell the difference.
